Here again, a year has passed. Time has warped and solid grounds are still to be found. Why does all seem to blend into a haze? For many, our compass for stability is just a bubble floating away, pulsating towards infinite vertigo. Luckily, once in a while, lucidity emerges and all comes to focus. The beauty of escapism, the dear clarity in finding something to cherish is a moment in calm relief.
In this spirit, to all seeking repose, I present to you my newest collection. I invite you in my precious treasure box away from our stormy thoughts. With a few tongue-in-cheek moments and a lot of shiny decadence, I am opening the door to more of what my mind is made of.
Florals and kitchy bows are the sweets I live for, and are continuing to be the stars of my current work. Mixed are textured metal castings, like melting armour, they mimic our fatigued bodies, yet also protect us from future wounds. Constellations of miniature stones now don my pieces in a myriade of colors. Newly introduced are sodalite and rose quartz, joining in my usual favorites, Carnelian, Mother of pearl, Jade, Serpentine and Onyx.
